A few days ago I rolled out some new brand elements. Today, I am excited to officially announce a subtle yet significant evolution in the branding of My Trusted Vacation Travel Advisors. As the business has continued to grow, I felt it was the opportune time to refresh our image, introducing a new element that embodies our commitment to your travel experiences: GOBI.
GOBI, our new mascot, is here to encourage you to “Go On, Book It!” This rebranding thoughtfully incorporates our original compass logo, representing the enduring foundation of our business, alongside GOBI, which now symbolizes our past, present, and exciting future.
Why a Red Octopus?
You might be wondering about the choice of a red octopus for GOBI. The color red is, in part, a nod to a pivotal moment in my journey into the travel industry – a chance meeting aboard Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady, an experience that continues to inspire me. Beyond that, red is a vibrant and eye-catching color, reflecting the exciting nature of travel itself.
The Symbolism of the Octopus
The decision to choose an octopus is multifaceted. While it does offer a subtle connection to a cherished travel memory, The Myth of Scarlet Night, the octopus is primarily a powerful symbol of adaptability and a multitude of possibilities.
The world of travel is diverse, with countless types of travelers, unique destinations, and varying preferences. Occasionally, unexpected changes or detours arise. My ability to adapt to your specific needs and navigate these complexities is paramount to both my success and, more importantly, your seamless and enjoyable vacation.
